“Having been in the nursing profession
for over 10 years before having my first child, I was confident in my knowledge of the body and how it
functions. With the birth or our first
child, I became an in-depth researcher of all
things related to the development and health care of children, researching the pros and cons of vaccination, the
use of antibiotics to treat ear infections, using as few processed foods as possible in their diet and the
benefits of breastfeeding, just to name a few.
When our second child began having
problems with recurrent ear infections at a very early age, the visits to the ENT, and the vicious cycle of
antibiotics began. He once had such nausea and
vomiting with the oral antibiotic, I asked the pediatrician to prescribe it for injection so I could give him
the shot myself! As soon as he turned three he had
his tonsils removed. A few weeks later, while
waiting for a program to begin at his preschool, I overheard another mother pulling Dr. Jones aside and thanking
him for his help with her son, who was also suffering from ear infections, but for whom Dr. Jones had adjusted
earlier and he was doing much better. At that
moment, I remember thinking…”why didn’t I think of that”? I called Dr. Jones’ office that day and made an
appointment…..for my 3 year old! At our initial
consultation with Dr. Jones, I relayed my son’s history of ear infections, antibiotic use and resulting
tonsillectomy. Dr. Jones was very compassionate
and understanding of all we had done medically to treat my son’s ear infections, but he had an ace up his
sleeve…and it was called Chiropractic care!
He set up an adjustment schedule and we were on our way! Soon after that, he evaluated my then 4 year old, 7 month
old, and myself as well. That was three years ago,
and now our family of five is now adjusted once per month.
This school year, none of my children
missed school due to illness. They experience
fewer colds, fevers, and viral illnesses than ever before.
They have, quite literally, adjusted to
their adjustments. My 6 year old will ask when
he’s due for an adjustment and has even told me on occasion that he’s felt like he needed one! I am convinced that by incorporating routine Chiropractic
care in addition to the normal well-child check-ups with their Pediatrician, we are giving our children an
excellent foundation for health and well-being throughout their life. What a great gift to give to our children!” ------Teresa Acostamadiedo
My name is Paul Bossi and I own and operate Elizabeth City
Trophy and The Fitness Warehouse in Elizabeth City. I had neck and lower back problems, came to
Dr. Jones and he worked miracles on me. I really thought I was going to need surgery to correct the issues I
had. I wanted to try the least restrictive method first and try using chiropractic health care. Dr.
Jones did an evaluation on me and explained to me that he could correct these issues and have me back to normal
in a few short months. I had neck pain where I could not move my neck to the right without pain and there was
tingling all the way do to my fingers, not to mention the lower back pain I had. I could not workout during this
time and I had it for over 3 months because I could not get the time to get in and see him because I coach
wrestling and was too busy. Well within 2 months I was to normal living without any pain. I was able to begin
powerlifting and make Team USA and go to Belgium to defend my World Championship with success. I cannot say
thank you enough to Dr. Jones and I now go in for regular adjustments to keep my body in check.

I am 60 years old with a physical body that aged to that of an 80 year old
person. Any change for the better is almost
miraculous. Early in my treatment Dr. Jones made corrections in
my left hip that enables me to walk without a cane. I have more
endurance and I am able to be more active.
The episodes of
acid reflux are less and I can now bend over without having the stomach contents back up. For those who have this ailment, I don’t need to explain how liberating it is
to just bend over.
Just the above
changes in my life are enough to keep me coming back. What is even
better is having other problems go away that I thought I would just have to live with. I am calmer, less anxious, and more alert. I believe I will continue to
improve as time passes. ------Linda L. Vance
P.S. I think that
the most important task for a patient is to commit to having good health. Part of this commitment is keeping appointments, taking the supplements, and
following the doctor’s advice.
